Role Overview Owen Daniels are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support an established engineering contractor on a major industrial site in Ayrshire, Scotland. This is an initial 3–6 month contract opportunity, supporting the commercial management and delivery of ongoing engineering works. Key Responsibilities
Manage commercial and contractual aspects of site-based projects.
Prepare and review valuations, variations and applications for payment.
Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance.
Liaise with site management, subcontractors and project teams.
Support cost reporting, forecasting and commercial documentation.
Identify and manage commercial risks throughout project delivery.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within an industrial, mechanical or engineering environment.
Strong understanding of commercial management and contract administration.
Experience managing variations, valuations and project costs.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently within a site-based project team.
