SEND Tutor

• Annual Salary: £33,000 - £35,000pa
• Location: West London
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Day-to-day of the role of an SEND Tutor

• Deliver engaging and practical horticulture-based learning alongside employability and RARPA (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement) programmes.
• Teach and assess RARPA learning programmes.
• Deliver employability and preparation-for-work activities.
• Support learners progressing to Entry Level through Level 2 vocational pathways.
• Develop individualised learning plans aligned to EHCP outcomes.
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with support staff and wider curriculum teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the SEND Tutor role:

• Experience teaching learners with SEND.
• Background in horticulture, land-based studies, gardening, or a related vocational area.
• Understanding of EHCPs and differentiated learning.
• Experience delivering vocational or employability programmes.
• Teaching qualification is desirable, or willingness to work towards one.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding in education
