CNC Setter / Programmer Location: Wolverhampton, WV4 Pay Rate: £15.38 – £16.83 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00 Recruitment Agency: Pertemps Wolverhampton About the RolePertemps Wolverhampton are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter / Programmer to join a busy manufacturing environment in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision components, working from engineering drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines, including Hurco machining centres. Create, edit and prove CNC programmes, selecting the correct tooling, speeds, feeds and work holding. Read and interpret engineering drawings to manufacture components to required specifications. Carry out first-off inspections and use precision measuring equipment to ensure quality standards are met. Skills & Experience Proven experience as a CNC Setter / Programmer within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment. Strong CNC milling experience, ideally with 3, 4 or 5-axis machines. Experience using Hurco machines and WinMax conversational controls. Experience with Fanuc CNC controls and G-code programming. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand tolerances. Knowledge of tooling, offsets, feeds, speeds and precision measuring equipment.
