Head of Accounts

We are supporting an established school looking to recruit an experienced Head of Accounts. This is a key role within the finance team, offering responsibility across the school's day-to-day accounting and financial management.

Key responsibilities:

• Management accounts and financial reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Financial controls and reconciliations
• Year-end accounts and audit support
• Cash flow monitoring
• Supporting and developing the finance team
• Working closely with senior stakeholders

We are looking for:

• Strong accounting and finance experience
• School and/or charity finance experience highly desirable
• Knowledge of charity accounting advantageous
• Strong Excel and systems skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Confident communication and stakeholder management
• Strong organisational skills
