Sales & Lead Qualification Specialist

• Location: Flexible / Remote with occasional time required at location (UK BASED ONLY)
• Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
• Salary: £17.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Bonus: 10% on warm lead generation targets

Join our team at Huntsham Heritage Meats, where we rear and butcher heritage breed meat, supplying to a diverse range of clients including restaurants and caterers. We are looking for a part-time Sales & Lead Qualification Specialist to help grow our trade customer base by identifying and qualifying new business leads.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Receive weekly briefs outlining target segments, areas, and priorities.
• Work flexibly up to 20 hours per week, managing your schedule to fit the needs of the role.
• Conduct research on prospects within the specified segments and areas.
• Make initial contact with potential clients via phone and email, introducing our heritage breed range.
• Qualify each prospect against agreed criteria such as fit with our range, price point, order volume, and frequency.
• Hand over qualified leads with detailed notes to the Sales Executive or Commercial Director.
• Maintain accurate and current records in our CRM system.
• Provide feedback on market intelligence, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
• Support the broader Sales Team by handling inbound sales calls during specified hours.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or account management, ideally with a focus on phone communication.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High level of self-motivation and organization, with the ability to work independently following a weekly brief.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems.
• Desirable: Background in food, hospitality, or trade supply and familiarity with the independent restaurant and food retail scene in the south of England. Experience with HubSpot is a plus.
