SEN Tutor - UB5 Location: UB5 area Position: One-to-One SEN Tutor Hours: Starting at 10 hours per week, increasing to 20 hours per week Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications Contract: Ongoing placement About the Role Remedy Tutors is seeking a supportive and enthusiastic SEN Tutor to work one-to-one with a student in the UB5 area. The placement will begin at 10 hours per week, with the aim of increasing to 20 hours per week over time. This is an opportunity to provide consistent, tailored educational support and help one student make progress at a pace suited to their needs. Key Responsibilities Provide individualised one-to-one tuition. Deliver lessons in both Maths and English. Identify learning gaps and support academic development. Adapt resources and teaching approaches to the student's learning needs. Encourage confidence, motivation and positive engagement. Track progress and communicate updates where required. Requirements Ability to teach Maths and English is essential. Experience working with SEN/SEND students is beneficial. Strong communication, patience and relationship-building skills. A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching. Relevant tutoring or teaching experience is preferred. What We Offer Competitive rates of pay. An ongoing student placement.
