We are working with a respected Local Authority in Berkshire that is seeking a Repairs Office & Customer Services Manager to join their team on an 8-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a busy service area that plays a key role in delivering high-quality housing repairs and customer support to residents.

The Role

As Repairs Office & Customer Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the repairs administration and customer service functions, ensuring an efficient and resident-focused service is delivered at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and supporting repairs administration and customer service teams
• Monitoring service performance and ensuring KPIs are achieved
• Overseeing contractor and stakeholder relationships
• Managing resident enquiries, complaints, and escalations
• Ensuring repairs are processed efficiently and within agreed timescales
• Identifying and implementing service improvements
• Producing performance reports and management information
• Supporting the delivery of an excellent customer experience

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience managing repairs, maintenance, housing, or customer service teams
• Strong knowledge of repairs and property maintenance operations
• Experience working within a Local Authority, Housing Association, or similar environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A customer-focused approach with experience resolving complex issues
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities
