Sales Executive

• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: Circa of £30,000 per annum
• Working hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday & 7:30am - 3:30pm Friday

The Opportunity:

We are recruiting an organised, commercially minded Internal Sales Executive to join an established manufacturer based in Chesterfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in internal sales, sales support or commercial administration who enjoys building customer relationships, managing sales pipelines and coordinating quotations in a fast-paced environment.

Working closely with the Key Account Manager and Pre-Construction Manager, you will play a key role in progressing sales opportunities, maintaining accurate CRM records and ensuring quotations and technical submissions are delivered efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Qualify new enquiries and identify suitable sales opportunities.
• Proactively follow up on tenders, quotations and live opportunities.
• Coordinate quotations, technical documentation and client submissions.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines and forecasting information.
• Review project documentation and clarify missing or conflicting information.
• Liaise with internal teams, including Estimating, Procurement and Project Management.
• Prepare sample boards and support tender and framework submissions.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and administrative efficiency.

About You:

• Experience in internal sales, sales support, estimating coordination or commercial administration.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communication and customer relationship skills.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and CRM systems.
• A proactive, commercially aware approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, doorsets or ironmongery would be advantageous, although training will be provided.
