Airfreight Pricing Executive

Location: Hampshire

Salary: Up to £35,000 + Commission

Working Pattern: Full-time | 1 day WFH after probation

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Freight Forwarding professional to join an entrepreneurial, forward-thinking and consistently growing business.

We're looking for someone with experience in freight forwarding across Air, Ocean or Road, ideally with a background in pricing, quotations or rate negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and managing competitive freight quotations across air, ocean and road.
• Obtaining and negotiating rates with airlines, shipping lines, hauliers and overseas agents.
• Calculating shipment costs and maintaining healthy profit margins.
• Responding to customer and internal pricing enquiries.
• Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Working alongside Sales and Operations to support new business opportunities.
• Identifying opportunities to improve pricing and commercial performance.

What We're Looking For

• Previous freight forwarding experience within air, ocean or road freight.
• Experience preparing customer quotations or working with freight rates.
• Good understanding of freight costs and commercial margins.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach.

Importantly, previous dedicated pricing experience is not essential. Candidates from operational backgrounds with experience quoting across air, ocean or road freight are encouraged to apply. Full support and development will be provided to the right person.
