Corporate Tax Manager

About the opportunity

Are you an experienced Corporate Tax professional looking for your next career move? This is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning accountancy and advisory firm in Cheltenham, taking ownership of client relationships and supporting the development of a growing tax team.

You’ll work with a varied portfolio of predominantly owner-managed businesses and mid-sized corporate clients, delivering high-quality tax compliance services and contributing to advisory work.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and managing corporate tax compliance work, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

• Acting as the day-to-day contact for clients and building strong relationships.

• Reviewing corporate tax computations prepared by junior team members.

• Working closely with audit, accounts and other teams to deliver an excellent client service.

• Supporting tax advisory projects and identifying opportunities to add value.

• Managing risk, work in progress and fee quotations.

• Mentoring and developing junior colleagues.

The role offers hybrid and flexible working, with a regular office presence to support the wider team.

What we’re looking for

• ACA or CTA qualified, with experience reviewing corporate tax computations in practice.

• Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax compliance.

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

• Experience supporting and developing junior team members.

• A proactive, commercially minded approach with strong organisational skills.
