The Company
This is a boutique experiential agency with a deep specialism in sports hospitality, brand activations and exhibition builds for some of the world's most recognised global brands. They have spent over a decade building a reputation in a niche very few agencies can credibly operate in, and they are growing. The Event Senior Project Manager/Director they are hiring into reflects that investment: leadership backing the people and roles needed to do the job properly.
The Role
This is a brand-new Event Senior Project Manager/Director position created to take operational ownership of a growing portfolio of international hospitality, experiential and brand activation projects for a major global account, working in close partnership with the senior account team.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of international hospitality, brand activation and pop-up projects
- Line manage three direct reports across production and project coordination
- Own and improve internal processes, workflows and team accountability structures
- Monitor budgets, timelines and project progress across the full portfolio
- Act as the production escalation point for two Senior Account Managers
- Lead the team calmly through complex, multi-market international builds
The Candidate
The right person for this Event Senior Project Manager/Director role comes from a senior agency background in project management, production or event delivery, and has a track record of leading teams as well as delivering projects. You will have managed complex, large-scale experiential, sporting or hospitality builds end-to-end, with the production knowledge to oversee technical teams confidently and the process discipline to bring structure to a busy, growing account.
Experience in international event delivery, brand activations or sports sponsorship hospitality is beneficial but not essential. Familiarity with project planning tools such as Planner or Smartsheet is a plus. Backgrounds from across agency-side experiential, live events or sports production are all worth considering for this Event Senior Project Manager/Director opportunity, provided the team leadership and process ownership credentials are clearly evidenced.
The package includes 25 days holiday, a TOIL policy that genuinely pays back on-site time, and the kind of autonomy that is rare at this level. If the portfolio and the brief appeal, this Event Senior Project Manager/Director role will not wait around. Send your application now and we will be in touch.
