Payroll Administrator (Temporary)

Location: Fully Remote
Hours: Approximately 22 hours per week (Flexible)

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis for an initial period of 1-2 months.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional looking for a flexible, fully remote position with an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing a large weekly payroll of approximately 500 employees, alongside 11 additional monthly payrolls covering around 280 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing end-to-end weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
• Managing payroll for approximately 500 weekly paid employees and 11 separate monthly payrolls.
• Processing starters, leavers, statutory payments, and payroll amendments.
• Ensuring payroll records are maintained accurately and in line with current legislation.
• Handling payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Supporting pension administration and payroll reporting where required.
• Maintaining confidentiality and a high level of accuracy at all times.

Requirements

• Previous payroll experience is essential.
• Experience using Brain Payroll or Sage 50 Payroll is required.
• Confident processing high-volume payrolls within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent accuracy.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Must be available to start immediately.
