Electrical Fitter Electrical Technician We are looking for an experienced Electrical fitter/Technician to carry out Heavy maintenance on a fleet of Rail vehicles in Cardiff on a 12 month Contract basis. This role has a rate of £19.56 ph PAYE or £25.98 Umb -  36 hours a week (with possible overtime), Monday to Friday Days Earlies and Lates on a rotation!! The ideal individuals will have experience in some form of relatable industry such as Vehicle/Aircraft maintenance, heavy engineering (REME, HGV, PSV etc) but all vehicular or transferable background industries will be considered Your Tasks Carry out Electrical maintenance and overhaul of Rail Vehicles to laid down standards and procedures Working on the underframes of rail vehicles to refit/replace Electrical components as part of the overhaul. Your Profile Essential:   Experienced engineer, qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum.
