Your new company is an established insurance broker operating within the London Market. Due to continued development within their claims offering, they are looking to recruit a Financial Lines Claims Broker to join their team in London. Your new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Financial Lines claims, with a particular focus on Professional Indemnity business across UK and international risks. You will handle claims throughout their lifecycle, working closely with clients, insurers and other London Market stakeholders to achieve positive claims outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing policy wordings and coverage, managing claims notifications, liaising and negotiating with insurers, providing regular updates to clients and ensuring claims are progressed efficiently. You will also process and maintain claims through London Market systems including ECF and CLASS. Alongside Professional Indemnity, there will be opportunities to gain exposure to wider Financial Lines classes such as D&O, Financial Institutions and Cyber.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience handling Professional Indemnity or Financial Lines claims, ideally within the London Market. You will have a good understanding of the claims process, policy wordings and coverage, together with strong communication and relationship management skills. Previous experience within a broking environment and knowledge of London Market claims systems such as ECF and CLASS would be advantageous.
