We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a fast-paced and established business based in Ipswich, on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract.

You will have experience in handling the monthly management accounts and weekly reporting, as well as offering ad hoc support to the transactional team.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and reporting packs
• Monthly and weekly reporting
• Month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Support year-end accounts and audit requirements
• Identify and implement improvements to finance processes and controls
• Work closely with Finance Director

Key Skills:

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or QBE
• Strong management accounting experience
• Commercially minded with excellent analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills and confident working with financial systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Proactive, hands-on and confident communicator
