IFA Administrator, Surrey. Up to £40,000 plus benefits

A financial services firm in Surrey is looking for an experienced Administrator to join their team to support the Financial Advisers & Paraplanners with their clients’ needs. You'll be the first point of contact for clients and will play a key role in keeping client records and reviews accurate and up to date.

The Role

• Carry out administrative tasks in support of the Financial Planning team.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their business with the firm.
• Use back-office systems such as Intelliflo to maintain client records.
• Understand investment platforms and how to read fund valuations in client portfolios.
• Process new business applications, including documentation checks.
• Prepare documents for outsourced paraplanners, including fact finds, risk assessments and illustrations.
• Create and process fund switch reports.

About You

• You will have at least 1 years’ experience in an IFA Administration role and ideally have started your diploma exams.
• Possess a solid understanding of pensions, investments, life assurance and mortgage products.
• Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
• Organised, able to prioritise, and comfortable working to deadlines under pressure.
• Good keyboard skills and PC literate, with sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and basic familiarity with Excel.
