The company: * A reputable German manufacturer offering premium equipment within the Industrial Compressed Air industry * They have a multi-million-pound turnover and are consistently growing * They offer fantastic training and development opportunities * They are a very agile company which ensures good quality service and customer retention The package: * £42K Basic Salary (possibly a little more for direct match) * Overtime * On call bonus * Bonuses for up-selling compressors whilst at customer sites * Company Van * Death in service at 3 x salary * Pension * 25 days annual leave + bank holidays * Laptop * Mobile The role: * As the Service Technician, you will be working for a German Manufacturer within the Industrial Compressed Air industry * You will be involved in doing Mechanical & Electrical service, repair, commissioning and overhaul of Industrial Air Compressors, Air Preparation, Gas Generators, Oxygen & Nitrogen Generators and general ancillaries * Dealing with End Users as well as some OEM’s across any industry that needs compressed air including, F&B, Cement, General Engineering etc… * You will be out and about at customer sites carrying out the work and ensuring it is competed to a high standard * You will be covering an area around South Yorkshire & West Yorkshire but may travel further from time to time The ideal person: * The ideal background would be someone from the Industrial Compressed Air industry * The work is slightly more slanted towards the Mechanical side but will also be Electrical work, so ideally looking for a multi-skilled engineer * They will consider experience as a Service Engineer, Service Technician or Workshop Engineering background * They will also consider someone from a Rotating Equipment background such as Compressors, Turbines, Pumps, Seals or a good strong general technician * They have also found people from the Waste Water industry can be well suited to the position If you think the role would be suitable for you, please apply now!
