About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Project Manager / Delivery Lead to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Edinburgh.

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Delivery Lead to support the delivery of a complex change initiative. You will coordinate delivery across multiple squads and wider business functions, managing dependencies and helping to keep delivery on track. You will work in a hybrid delivery environment, combining Agile ways of working with traditional project management disciplines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate delivery across multiple squads and business teams, ensuring activity remains aligned with programme objectives.
• Develop and maintain delivery plans, milestones and priorities to provide structure and oversight across the initiative.
• Manage cross-team risks, issues and dependencies, supporting effective planning and decision-making.
• Coordinate activity across Agile and traditional delivery environments, facilitating communication and alignment between delivery teams and wider business functions.
• Provide clear reporting and visibility of progress to key stakeholders, helping to ensure key deliverables remain on track.

About You

• Strong experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Lead or in a similar role, delivering complex, cross-functional change initiatives.
• Experience coordinating delivery across multiple Agile squads and wider business teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile and traditional project management methodologies, with the ability to operate effectively in a hybrid delivery environment.
• Proven experience managing delivery plans, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies, bringing structure and oversight to complex delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across technology, change and business teams and managing competing priorities.

Desirable: Financial services or insurance experience; experience delivering new products, propositions or business change initiatives; relevant Agile or project management qualifications.
