IT Support Engineer

Brighton (Hybrid working - 3 days on site)
2-Month Contract (potential extension)
£200 - £275 per day

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a fast-growing business on an initial 2-month contract.

Working closely with the IT Manager, you'll take ownership of day-to-day IT support activities, onboarding and offboarding processes, and assist with key IT improvement initiatives across the organisation.

This contract would suit a proactive IT Support Engineer who enjoys a varied role spanning user support, device management, cloud administration and IT improvement projects.

Please note, engagement is via umbrella company only; all tax and NI will be deducted at source.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support via Jira and Slack, ensuring tickets are resolved within agreed SLAs
• Support both onsite and remote users across the business
• Troubleshoot and support Windows devices, with basic support of macOS devices
• Manage user accounts, permissions, licences and shared resources across Microsoft 365
• Administer and support business applications.
• Manage hardware assets and maintain accurate asset records
• Deliver end-to-end onboarding and offboarding activities
• Support ongoing project work, including identity management and single sign-on initiatives
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation
• Promote security best practice and support compliance activities

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience within an internal IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support or Service Desk position.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills
• Experience supporting Windows environments
• Experience supporting macOS devices (basic level acceptable)
• Experience of device management and MDM platforms
• Proven experience managing joiners, movers and leavers processes

Desirable Experience

• Google Workspace administration
• Okta (SSO, lifecycle management and application integrations)
• MDM platforms
• Exposure to ISO 27001 and/or Cyber Essentials Plus environments
• CrowdStrike Falcon administration or support experience
