Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Junior Finance Assistant to support the finance team and gain exposure to all aspects of construction accounting and project finance. Responsibilities * Assisting with the processing of supplier invoices and subcontractor payments. * Supporting purchase ledger and sales ledger activities. * Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries. * Raising and issuing client invoices. * Processing employee expenses and company credit card transactions. * Assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs. * Supporting payroll administration and timesheet processing. * Maintaining accurate financial records and project cost information. * Assisting with month-end reporting and finance administration. * Liaising with project teams, site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding financial matters. * Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc accounting duties and reporting requirements. Requirements * Previous experience within administration, accounts, finance, or bookkeeping is desirable. * Construction industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential. * Strong numerical and analytical skills. * Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines. * Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
