Description

• Process day-to-day finance transactions accurately to maintain clear and up-to-date records.
• Enter financial data into internal systems and check information is complete before it is recorded.
• Maintain organised finance files and documents so information is easy to find when needed.
• Review transaction details and resolve basic data queries to reduce errors in financial records.
• Prepare routine finance information for the Accounting & Finance department.
• Work with colleagues to gather documents and information needed for day-to-day finance tasks.
• Keep records accurate and follow agreed internal finance procedures.

Profile

A successful 'Accounts Assistant' should have:

• Experience completing routine finance administration and transaction processing.
• Confidence entering and checking financial data with a high level of accuracy.
• The ability to keep finance documents and records well organised.
• Experience working with finance systems or spreadsheets to maintain clear information.
• The ability to investigate straightforward data queries and correct errors.
• A practical approach to managing day-to-day accounting and finance tasks.
