Position: One-to-One Outreach and Learning Support Tutor
Location: Lambeth
Hours: Flexible, up to 40 hours per week
Pay: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Contract: Flexible, ongoing placements

Support Students Who Need Individualised Education

Remedy Tutors is recruiting adaptable tutors to work with young people who may struggle to access mainstream education.

Students may have autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, sensory processing differences or communication difficulties. You will provide structured and personalised tuition, helping students feel supported and re-engage with learning.

The Role

• Deliver tuition in both Maths and English.

• Adapt lessons to suit individual abilities and needs.

• Break tasks into manageable steps.

• Encourage participation, confidence and positive routines.

• Build trusting relationships with students.

• Monitor progress and adjust teaching approaches.

What We're Looking For

• Ability to teach Maths and English.

• Experience with SEN/SEND or SEMH is desirable.

• Patient, calm and flexible approach.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
