A respected British manufacturer with an established reputation for quality and innovation is looking for a proactive, detail-focused Quality Management System (QMS) Specialist to manage and improve their Integrated Management System (IMS). Working closely with the Operations Director, you’ll play a key role in maintaining quality standards, supporting audits and ensuring documentation is accurate, controlled and always audit-ready. A major part of the role will be leading the migration of the QMS documentation to Microsoft SharePoint — creating a smarter, more accessible and effective document control system. What you’ll do * Lead the migration of IMS documentation to SharePoint. * Maintain controlled documents, procedures and records. * Support internal, external and customer audits. * Monitor corrective actions (CAPAs) and drive timely closure. * Maintain compliance across AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 17025 and ISO 27001. * Support customer quality submissions, calibration records and competency documentation. * Promote continuous improvement and a practical approach to quality across the business. What we’re looking for * Experience in a quality management environment, ideally aerospace, defence or regulated manufacturing. * Working knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001. * Experience in document control and managing controlled records. * Good Microsoft 365 skills, particularly SharePoint, Word and Excel. * Excellent organisation, attention to detail and written communication. * A self-starter who takes ownership and gets things done. Experience with SharePoint QMS migration and internal auditing would be an advantage. The details Location: South Birmingham Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.15pm with early finish Fridays.
