The Role As Nursery Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring children receive high-quality care, education and support in a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment. You will lead, motivate and develop your team, creating a positive workplace culture where practitioners feel supported and children can thrive. The successful Nursery Manager will oversee curriculum planning, maintain strong EYFS practice and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times. You will also work closely with parents and carers, building positive relationships and keeping them informed about their children's learning and development. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage the daily operations of the nursery. * Support, motivate and develop a team of early years practitioners. * Ensure compliance with EYFS requirements, safeguarding policies and Ofsted standards. * Monitor children's learning, development and wellbeing. * Build strong relationships with parents, carers and staff. * Oversee staff performance, training and professional development. * Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout the setting. What We Are Looking For We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic Nursery Manager with strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. You should have a Level 3 childcare qualification, experience within an early years setting and a genuine passion for providing excellent childcare. The ideal candidate will be proactive, approachable and committed to creating an environment where children and staff can flourish. Previous management experience and a sound understanding of nursery operations, safeguarding and the EYFS framework are highly desirable.
