Warehouse Operative – Leicester – £23,132 Per Annum – Permanent

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Leicester.

This is a fantastic permanent opportunity offering consistent Monday-to-Friday daytime working hours within a busy, professional warehouse and distribution environment.

£23,132 Per Annum | Monday to Friday | 9:00am–5:00pm | Permanent Position | No Weekends

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Order Picker, Packing Operative or Stockroom Operative.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00am–5:00pm
• 1-hour unpaid lunch break
• 35 paid hours per week
• No weekend working

Rates of Pay

• £23,132 per annum
• Equivalent to £12.71 per hour
• Permanent position

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately
• Preparing orders for dispatch
• Checking products and quantities against order information
• Receiving and putting away incoming stock
• Ensuring products are stored correctly within the warehouse
• Carrying out stock checks when required
• Completing relevant warehouse paperwork and maintaining accurate records
• Labelling and preparing products for dispatch
• Ensuring orders are completed accurately and within required timescales
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
• Following company procedures and health and safety requirements
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently
• Supporting other warehouse duties as required

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• Previous warehouse, picking, packing or stock-handling experience
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to follow processes and instructions carefully
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Comfortable working within a busy warehouse environment
• A professional and positive attitude
