Your new role

As a Private Client Tax Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of private clients and play an important role in delivering a high-quality service alongside the wider tax team.

• Managing a varied portfolio of private and personal tax clients
• Overseeing and reviewing personal tax compliance work
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
• Supporting and reviewing the work of more junior members of the team
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional tax advice to clients
• Becoming involved in advisory projects where appropriate to your experience
• Working closely with senior members of the tax team on more complex client matters
• Contributing to the continued development and growth of the private client offering

What you'll need to succeed

You will have strong experience within personal/private client tax, ideally gained within an accountancy practice or professional services environment. You should be comfortable managing your own portfolio and developing strong relationships with clients.CTA qualification would be highly desirable, although experienced candidates with a strong personal tax background will also be considered.Above all, the firm is looking for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, can take ownership of their portfolio and wants to become an established part of the wider tax team.
