The Role As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the payroll function, ensuring payroll data is processed accurately and employees receive a high level of service. Working closely with the Payroll Manager and wider team, you'll gain exposure to a busy payroll environment with opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills. Key Responsibilities Supporting the processing of weekly and monthly payrolls Processing starters, leavers and employee changes Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data accuracy Assisting with statutory payments, deductions and compliance requirements Managing payroll inbox queries and providing excellent customer service Supporting payroll reconciliations and reporting activities Liaising with HR, Finance and operational teams Assisting with payroll audits and year-end processes Ensuring all payroll activities are completed within deadlines About You Previous payroll administration experience is desirable Strong administrative and organisational skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Confident using Microsoft Excel and payroll systems Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Eager to learn and develop within payroll What's on Offer Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Free on-site parking CIPP study support Career development opportunities within a growing business Supportive and collaborative team environment Stable and well-established manufacturing organisation 52295LA INDPAYN The Portfolio Group are acting on behalf of our client in recruiting for this position
