FP&A Analyst | Northwich | Hybrid working | Up to £50,000 + bonus

Are you a commercially minded finance professional looking for a role where you can influence decisions, challenge existing processes and contribute to business performance?

Robert Half is working exclusively with an established technology services business looking to further develop its FP&A function and strengthen the commercial insight available across the business.

This is an opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, gaining exposure to a broad range of commercial and operational areas. You'll play an active role in analysing business performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and supporting decisions around pricing, efficiency and future growth.

The role offers scope to take ownership, bring new ideas and move beyond traditional financial reporting into a more commercially focused position.

The Opportunity

• Commercial business partnering: Work alongside senior stakeholders, providing financial insight and constructive challenge to support business decisions.

• Profitability and performance: Analyse margins, pricing and operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and increased efficiency.

• Develop FP&A: Contribute to the development of forecasting, financial modelling and forward-looking commercial analysis.

• Wider business exposure: Build relationships across Sales, Operations and Service Delivery, gaining an understanding of the wider business and its commercial drivers.

• Support growth: Evaluate commercial opportunities and proposals, helping the business make informed decisions and improve financial performance.

• Ownership and autonomy: Take responsibility for your work, challenge existing processes and put forward recommendations that can have a tangible impact.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset who enjoys understanding the wider business, questioning the numbers and translating financial information into meaningful commercial insight.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience within FP&A, commercial finance, finance business partnering or management accounting.

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with advanced Excel.

• The confidence to work with senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions and communicate financial information clearly.

• A proactive approach, with the ability to identify commercial opportunities and recommend practical solutions.

• The ability to work independently, take ownership and adapt within a changing business environment.

Full qualification isn't essential. The business is open to part-qualified candidates and those with relevant experience who can demonstrate the right commercial skills and mindset.

Previous experience within technology, services or recurring revenue businesses would be beneficial but isn't essential.

The Package

• Salary up to £50,000, depending on experience.

• Annual bonus.

• Hybrid working, with three days a week in the Northwich office (Tuesday to Thursday).
