Your new role
Hays is working with a hospitality business based in Wilsden who is looking to expand their HR team. They are looking for an HR Coordinator to support the HR Manager. You will provide support to line managers across 35 sites.

• Provide first-line HR support to Site Managers, responding to employee relations queries and escalating complex issues to the HR Manager where appropriate.
• Liaise with Employment Law Consultants prior to any formal employee relations action to ensure compliance and maintain insurance indemnity in the event of Employment Tribunal claims.
• Prepare meeting documentation and accurately record minutes for Probation Reviews, Investigations, Absence Reviews, Disciplinary, Capability, Welfare, Medical Capability, Appeal, and Grievance hearings.
• Effectively prioritise workload to manage urgent and time-sensitive employee relations matters.
• Support Site Managers by conducting Return to Work interviews, probation reviews, investigations, and welfare meetings when required.
• Review and issue employment-related correspondence provided by Employment Law Consultants, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of wider HR documentation, including Letters of Concern, memos, and other employee communications.
• Maintain accurate employee relations records and ensure all cases are logged and updated within the personnel tracking system.
• Monitor outstanding employee relations matters, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Produce and analyse HR reports, identifying trends and providing insights to support decision-making.
• Provide administrative support to the Payroll team when required.
• Maintain and record annual leave information for Head Office employees.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
• Handle all confidential information with the utmost discretion, ensuring compliance with company policies, data protection requirements, and confidentiality obligations at all times.
