The company works across a diverse range of planning projects, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their expertise while contributing to a variety of residential, commercial and development-led schemes. Requirements: A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline Previous experience within a planning consultancy or local authority is desirable Working towards, or already holding, MRTPI chartership Good knowledge of UK planning legislation, policy and procedures Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage workloads effectively and work both independently and as part of a teamResponsibilities: Preparing and submitting planning applications Undertaking planning appraisals and providing planning advice to clients Supporting the preparation of planning statements and reports Liaising with local planning authorities, clients and other stakeholders Monitoring planning policy and relevant legislative changes Assisting with a range of residential, commercial and mixed-use development projectsThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Town Planner looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive consultancy environment.
