Complete machine alignments and calibration work to ensure equipment operates accurately and reliably. Visit customer sites to resolve technical issues, provide training and keep customers updated on progress. Carry out in-house machine builds, maintain tools and test equipment, and ensure all work meets health and safety requirements. Identify opportunities for spare parts, service contracts and renewals while building strong relationships with customers.   Field Service Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Experience servicing, maintaining or repairing mechanical, electrical or electromechanical machinery. A good mechanical background with electrical knowledge and some experience of pneumatics; the ability to read circuit diagrams would be an advantage. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
