Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is a hands-on role combining financial reporting, cost analysis and commercial business partnering to support operational performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.

• Analyse manufacturing costs, stock, WIP, margins and production variances.

• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.

• Produce financial and operational KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.

• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and support decision-making.

• Support month-end, year-end and audit processes.

• Drive improvements in financial controls, systems and reporting.

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).

• Proven management accounting experience within manufacturing.

• Strong understanding of costing, stock, WIP and margin analysis.

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.

• Commercially focused, analytical and confident engaging with operational stakeholders.

• Proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
