Our client, a leading infrastructure contractor within the water sector, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support a major clean water pipeline project in Romsey, Southampton. This contract role offers the opportunity to lead the commercial function on a high-profile AMP programme with long-term project activity. Key Responsibilities: Lead the commercial function across the clean water pipeline project Manage NEC Option C contract administration and compliance Oversee cost-value reconciliations, forecasting and commercial reporting Manage target costs, compensation events and change control processes Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities Work closely with project teams, supply chain partners and key stakeholders Provide commercial leadership to support the successful delivery of the project Job Requirements: Experience as a Commercial Manager within water, utilities, civil engineering or major infrastructure projects Strong quantity surveying experience and commercial management expertise Comprehensive knowledge of NEC contracts, particularly NEC Option C Experience managing target cost contracts, cost-value reconciliations and project forecasting Understanding of compensation events, change control and commercial risk management Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills Water, utilities or pipeline project experience would be highly advantageous Contract Details: Location: Romsey, Southampton 16-month contract Immediate start available Opportunity to contribute to a major clean water infrastructure programme If you are an experienced Commercial Manager with a strong quantity surveying background and NEC contract expertise, apply now to take a leading commercial role on this significant water infrastructure project
