Employee Benefits Consultant – Group Risk & Healthcare
Near Warrington | Hybrid working | £60,000 to £80,000 depending on experience + bonus + benefits
MBF are working with a successful financial planning business near Warrington to recruit an Employee Benefits Consultant specialising in Group Risk and Healthcare.
This is an opportunity to join a business where strong professional relationships, consistently high service standards and personal recommendations drive growth. You’ll have access to established introducer relationships, scope to help develop the Corporate Advice team and a potential route into a future leadership role.
The opportunity
Corporate Advice plays an important role within the wider business. Relationships with employers often lead to personal financial planning conversations with directors and senior employees, creating a close connection between the corporate and private client teams.
The firm has established links with several local accountancy practices, with corporate advice frequently providing the starting point for new client relationships.
Your focus will be on Group Risk and Healthcare, including group protection, private medical insurance, health cash plans and related benefits. An established consultant already leads the Group Pensions proposition, so you don’t need to bring expertise across every area of employee benefits.
What you’ll be doing
The person
You’ll bring relevant experience in areas such as Group Risk, Group Healthcare, PMI or health cash plans, alongside the confidence to manage client relationships and develop new opportunities.
You don’t need to have covered every product area. Training and professional development support can help broaden your knowledge.
Just as important is how you work. The firm is looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through on commitments and consistently does the right thing for clients and colleagues. Its referral model depends on maintaining that approach as the business grows.
Longer-term progression
The Director leading the Corporate Advice team plans to grow this part of the business over the next five to seven years ahead of retirement.
For someone with the ambition and ability to develop, this creates scope to take on increasing responsibility and potentially progress into the Director role in the future.
Package and benefits
