Internal Sales Executive – Waste Management Location: Cheltenham Working: Office-based Salary: £28,500 – £30,000k Commission: Uncapped Type: Full-time, Permanent The Opportunity We are working with a successful family-owned waste management business with around 95 employees, a fleet of 50 vehicles and its own mixed recycling and confidential shredding facilities in Cheltenham. They are looking for a Telesales Executive to join their growing sales team and generate new business across the region. This is a proactive outbound sales role, where you'll be responsible for identifying prospective customers, building relationships and converting opportunities into new business. The Role You'll be responsible for: * Making outbound calls to prospective business customers * Generating and qualifying new sales opportunities * Identifying customer requirements and recommending suitable solutions * Building relationships with decision-makers * Following up leads and maintaining your pipeline * Preparing quotes and closing new business * Working towards monthly new-business targets * Keeping accurate records of activity and opportunities You'll be selling a broad Total Waste Management (TWM) proposition, including general and food waste, recycling, confidential shredding and other commercial waste services. About You We're looking for someone who enjoys outbound sales and winning new business. Waste experience is not essential. We're open to people from any relevant B2B service-led sales environment, including: * Waste / Recycling * Facilities Management * Security * Cleaning / Hygiene * Environmental Services * Logistics * Telecoms * Business Services * Managed Services Relevant backgrounds could include Telesales Executive, Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, Internal Sales Executive, Sales Consultant or Account Manager with a strong new-business focus. You'll need to be confident on the phone, commercially driven, resilient and comfortable picking up the phone and creating opportunities from scratch.
