An ambitious secondary school in Wandsworth is looking for a dedicated and committed Design & Technology ECT to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated ECT who is passionate about inspiring students to develop their practical skills, design ideas and technical knowledge. The role is due to start in January 2027 and is a full-time, permanent position.

The school is looking for someone who can bring Design & Technology to life through engaging, hands-on lessons that encourage students to explore, experiment and develop their skills across Product Design, Food Technology, Systems & Control, CAD and Graphics. Lessons will support students in learning to use specialist tools, equipment and a range of materials safely and accurately, while developing their understanding of structures, mechanisms, electronics and emerging technologies. You will also encourage students to consider sustainability, the environmental impact of products and the work of professional designers and engineers, helping them build creativity, technical knowledge, resilience and confidence in their practical abilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT to develop their teaching practice, gain valuable classroom experience and inspire students to become creative and independent problem-solvers.

• Planning and delivering engaging Design & Technology Lessons
• Teaching Product Design, Food Technology, Systems & Control, CAD and Graphics across KS3-5
• Developing students' practical skills and subject knowledge

• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
