GDASS Health Team Leader

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £32,870 plus £750 annual car allowance

Hours: 37 hours per week

Lead a team that makes a real difference

We’re looking for an experienced GDASS Health Team Leader to lead the day-to-day delivery of Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service (GDASS), part of GreenSquareAccord.

GDASS supports victims of domestic abuse aged 16 and over across Gloucestershire. In this role, you’ll manage the standard and medium risk team, including the helpline, floating support workers and groupwork, helping ensure people receive safe, consistent and person-centred support.

You’ll provide strong, supportive leadership, balancing coaching and accountability with empathy and understanding. You’ll oversee service delivery, promote safeguarding and risk management, and ensure support plans are delivered effectively.

Working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners across health, housing and community services, you’ll help improve outcomes for people experiencing domestic abuse.

What We Need

You’ll have experience in a care, support or health-related setting, alongside proven leadership or team coordination experience.

You’ll also bring:

• Experience of leading, coaching or coordinating a team
• A strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessments and quality standards
• Confidence in record keeping, reporting and maintaining accurate documentation
• The ability to remain calm under pressure, make informed decisions and manage change
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• The ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners

A DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.

• £32,870 annual salary plus £750 car allowance
