We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join a regional main contractor based out of Verwood, Dorset. They undertake new-build and refurbishment projects, typically up to around £6.0m in value, across the commercial, education, healthcare and public sectors. As a result of continued growth in the region, they're now looking to bring an additional Estimator onto their pre-construction team. About the role of Estimator: As Estimator, you will be involved in projects from initial conception, managing the pricing process to ensure projects are tendered accurately. You will be reporting into the Pre-Construction Manager and may be expected to help with the mentoring of more junior members of staff. Key Responsibilities as Estimator: Manage tenders valuing up to £6.0m Work collaboratively with the bid team Helping to mentor more junior members of the pre-construction team Key Requirements as Estimator: Held an Estimator position within a main contractor who operates with similar project values Have experience with both single and two-stage routes Have some experience with JCT and NEC contract forms Live within commutable distance to Verwood, Dorset and be happy to travel there / to site as required MUST have the full right to work in the UK What's on offer in return: Salary: Up to £70k Extensive benefits package Opportunity for progression within the business A business with a strong reputation in the region and solid cash position This is a fantastic opportunity for an Estimator to join a great regional contractor business where you can continue to forge a lasting career.
