We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a major public sector organisation in London for a senior finance leader to help shape financial strategy and drive organisational performance.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced finance professional operating at Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director or Head of Finance level who can demonstrate strategic financial leadership within complex, high-profile environments.

Key areas of responsibility are likely to include:

• Leading finance teams within a large and complex organisation
• Providing strategic financial advice to executive leadership and key stakeholders
• Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Medium and long-term financial strategy development
• Corporate financial governance and risk management
• Supporting organisational transformation and change programmes
• Presenting financial information to senior leadership, boards and external stakeholders
• Driving continuous improvement across financial processes and controls

We're particularly interested in hearing from individuals with experience in:

• Central Government
• Local Government
• Policing, Justice or Public Safety organisations
• GLA Group organisations
• NHS or wider public sector bodies
• Large regulated or complex organisations

Applicants should be qualified accountants (CCAB/CIMA equivalent) with a track record of operating at a senior leadership level and influencing strategic decision-making.
