Ready to step up and take on more client responsibility? A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Leeds is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Business Services Assistant Manager.

You’d review work from junior and semi senior staff, hold the client relationships and keep the team running smoothly, with experienced managers and partners behind you. Clients range from owner managed businesses up to larger companies, so the portfolio stays varied, and there’s a clear route to Manager. What’s the day to day of the role:

• Reviewing and managing accounts assignments across a varied client portfolio
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients
• Supporting managers and partners on more complex work
• Overseeing workflow and keeping deadlines on track
• Coaching and developing junior team members
• Contributing to business development and client retention

Required skills and qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified with a solid accounts preparation and review background
• At least four years’ experience within a UK Practice environment
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering to deadlines
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial reporting
• A confident, professional manner with clients
