Housing Officer

Cambridgeshire (Hybrid Working - 3 days office / 2 days home) Full Time £24-£26 per hour Umbrella PAYE option available Initial up to 6-month contract Weekly rolling arrangement Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

• Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) case management
• Income management and rent arrears recovery
• Tenancy management and enforcement
• Estate and neighbourhood management
• Resident engagement and complaint resolution
• Multi-agency partnership working
• Home visits and estate inspections
• Managing complex and escalated housing cases

Essential Requirements

• Previous Housing Officer experience within social housing
• Strong ASB investigation and case management experience
• Income management and arrears recovery knowledge
• Experience using PCOL and legal enforcement processes
• Ability to manage complex cases independently
• Excellent communication and resident engagement skills
• Full UK driving licence

This role would suit an experienced Housing Officer who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and delivering outcomes for residents. The successful candidate will play a key role in tackling a backlog of housing management work and helping the service return to a proactive, patch-based model.
