M&E Engineer Location: Liverpool Street, London, EC1 Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm / 7:00am–4:00pm Job Type: Permanent Contract: Static We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Engineer to join their facilities management team working on a prestigious banking client contract in Liverpool Street. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Engineer / Multi-Skilled Engineer with a slight electrical bias to join an established team of 4–5 engineers working on the tenant side of a high-profile commercial building. The Role As an M&E Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the building, ensuring all mechanical and electrical systems are maintained to a high standard. The role is static, Monday to Friday, with working hours alternating between 8am–5pm and 7am–4pm. You will work as part of a team of 4–5 engineers and will have regular interaction with the client and building occupants. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) * Complete reactive maintenance and fault finding * Maintain mechanical and electrical building services * Diagnose and resolve faults across M&E systems * Carry out electrical maintenance within your level of competency * Assist with mechanical maintenance and general building services * Complete maintenance records and job sheets * Respond to tenant maintenance requests * Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard * Work closely with the engineering team and client * Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the building About You The ideal candidate will have: * A recognised Mechanical or Electrical qualification * A slight Electrical bias would be advantageous * Strong commercial Facilities Management / Building Services experience * Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills * A professional and client-facing approach * Good communication skills * The ability to work effectively as part of a team Salary & Benefits * Up to £48,000 per annum * Monday to Friday * 8am–5pm / 7am–4pm shifts * Static site in Liverpool Street, EC1 * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Call-out 1 in 4 * £100 standby payment per week * Overtime generally available * Established team of 4–5 engineers * High-profile banking environment * 2-stage interview process: Teams interview followed by face-to-face interview * Subject to standard background checks If you're an experienced M&E / Multi-Skilled Engineer looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday static position in Liverpool Street, this could be an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a prestigious commercial banking environment.
