Graduate Recruitment Consultant – Education Supply Desk, Watford Salary: £35,000 basic + team bonus | Full-time, permanent Kick-start your career in education recruitment Are you a recent graduate looking for a fast-paced, people-focused career where you can make a real difference? Supply Desk is looking for a bright, confident Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join our friendly team in Watford. You’ll play a key role in connecting talented teachers and support staff with schools across the region, helping to ensure pupils get the education they deserve every day. The role As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of 50+ schools, building strong, lasting relationships with head teachers, business managers and school leaders. Your day-to-day will include: Account managing 50+ schools, understanding their staffing needs and delivering a reliable, high-quality service Speaking confidently with clients and candidates over the phone throughout the day Sourcing, interviewing and placing teachers, teaching assistants and cover supervisors Matching the right candidate to the right school, often at short notice Using our CRM and recruitment technology to manage bookings, candidates and client records Working towards targets and growing your accounts over time About you We’re looking for a graduate with drive, personality and great communication skills. You’ll ideally have: A degree, ideally in English, History, Politics or Business Excellent written and spoken English Strong numeracy skills Confidence talking to people on the phone and building rapport quickly Good technology skills and the ability to pick up new systems with ease Strong organisation and the ability to stay calm under pressure A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in people No recruitment experience? No problem. Full training and ongoing support will be provided. Working hours This role works on a shift pattern that may vary as the role progresses: 7:00am – 4:00pm 7:30am – 4:30pm 8:00am – 5:00pm Enjoy reduced hours during the school holidays.
