Part-Time Reception Teaching Assistant Required - Lancaster Area

Veritas Education are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on a one-to-one basis in Reception at a welcoming primary school in the Lancaster area.

This is a part-time role, working Monday to Friday, 1300 to 1515, starting immediately. The successful candidate will provide tailored support to help the child access learning, engage in classroom activities and thrive within the school environment.

The Role:

• One-to-one support for a pupil in Reception
• Monday to Friday
• 1300 to 1515
• Term time only
• Immediate start
• Supporting learning, development and social interaction
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider school staff

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children in a school, nursery or childcare setting
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing
