They currently operate their Payrolls through Merit Payroll (only beneficial not essential) however they are moving a large proportion to Microsoft Business Central in the new year. aprox 1000 candidate payrolls on a weekly cycle. 75% of these are subcontractor payrolls, processed to Umbrella Co's or Ltd Co's and 25% PAYE Timesheets received in many formats, manual / excel / email etc - strong excel skills required Merit is a 'pay and bill' software, so successful candidate would also be responsible for client billing PAYE experience is essential Role will not have direct line reports but will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of workload, ensuring deadlines are met and queries are responded to. Reports in to Finance and Payroll Manager and Team has 4 additional Payroll Assistants It is a very fast paced environment due to volume of timesheets and banking deadlines etc and would suggest the individual would need to be confident in their abilities. 8:45 - 5:15 with 30mins lunch (40 hours week).
