Trident Recruitment is recruiting CNC Millers for a specialist engineering company in Portsmouth, manufacturing composite moulds and tooling for Formula 1. Opportunities are available for experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operators and Setter/Operators, with weekday day, weekday night and weekend day shifts available. The Role * Set and operate 3-axis or 5-axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls. * Programme machines where applicable to your role and experience. * Machine complex moulds and tooling to engineering drawings and specifications. * Inspect work to ensure accuracy, quality and surface finish. * Work closely with the manufacturing team to meet production deadlines. Experience Required * Heidenhain control experience – essential. * 3-axis or 5-axis CNC milling experience – essential. * 3D form machining experience – preferred. * HyperMill experience – desirable, with training provided. * A strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Weekday Day Shift – Programmer/Setter/Operators & Setter/Operators 40 hours across five days: Monday–Friday, 07:30–15:30. Ample overtime available. Weekday Night Shift – Programmer/Setter/Operators 40 hours across four nights: Monday–Thursday, 17:30–03:30. Time-and-a-third shift allowance, with overtime available. Weekend Day Shift – Programmer/Setter/Operators & Setter/Operators 36 hours across four days: * Friday: 14:00–20:00. * Saturday and Sunday: 06:00–18:00. * Monday: 06:00–12:00. Time-and-a-third shift allowance.
