CRA Consulting is pleased to be working alongside a well-established law firm in Nottingham to recruit a Personal Injury Solicitor into its growing claimant team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Personal Injury Solicitor looking to take ownership of their own caseload, develop their litigation experience and join a friendly and supportive team.
The Opportunity
You will manage a varied caseload of claimant Personal Injury matters, with the role offering exposure to both litigated and more complex claims.
The team handles a broad range of Personal Injury work, including RTA, Employers' Liability, Public Liability and Occupiers' Liability claims, alongside more complex and substantial matters.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own caseload from initial instruction through to conclusion
  • Progressing litigated Personal Injury claims, including multi-track matters
  • Advising clients throughout the claims and litigation process
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, schedules and other legal documentation
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, medical experts and other third parties
  • Managing key deadlines and ensuring matters progress effectively
  • Taking responsibility for more complex and higher-value claims as your experience develops
  • Working closely with colleagues and contributing to a supportive team environment

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of around 1 year's PQE, although candidates with relevant experience outside of this will also be considered
  • Previous experience handling claimant Personal Injury matters
  • Experience of litigated claims and a good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • The ability to manage your own caseload and work to deadlines
  • A proactive and organised approach
  • An interest in developing your expertise and taking on greater responsibility

This role would suit a Personal Injury Solicitor who is looking for a hands-on position where they can genuinely take ownership of their work, build on their litigation experience and progress within an established team.
The Benefits
You'll be joining a growing Personal Injury department within an established East Midlands firm, with the opportunity to work on a varied caseload and develop your experience across a broad range of claimant matters.
If you're a Personal Injury Solicitor in Nottingham or the surrounding area and are open to hearing about a new opportunity, please get in touch with CRA Consulting for a confidential discussion.
