Job description Our client is a social housing contractor seeking an experienced Repairs Supervisor to manage and lead directly employed trade operatives. This role is covering areas in and around Enfield Role and responsibilities * Support Contracts Managers to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance. * Coordinate with Schedulers to deploy operatives efficiently and keep jobs on track. * Ensure repairs are delivered on time, to standard and within budget. * Carry out pre- and post-inspections to ensure quality, compliance and value for money. * Conduct site inspections, resolve issues and manage customer complaints. * Support environmental targets and stay ahead of legislation and best practice. * Monitor materials, stock, costs and operative performance against targets. * Keep up to date with repairs systems, technology and industry standards. * Take a proactive, flexible approach and support the wider repairs team. Requirements * Supervisory or line management experience in a reactive repairs environment with directly employed operatives. * Social housing experience * Hands on trade experience * Familiarity with mobile technology and IT systems (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to motivate staff. * Willingness to work out-of-hours when required. * Full UK Driving Licence Benefits * Van and fuel card provided * Laptop provided * Training provided
