A well-established mid-tier accountancy firm based in Central London is seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join the team on a short-term contract basis. This assignment has arisen due to increased workloads and will provide valuable support during a busy period while maintaining excellent service levels for a diverse portfolio of private clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced private client tax professional looking for a flexible contract role within a respected and collaborative practice environment.
Your new role

• Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners and family groups.
• Reviewing and preparing self-assessment tax returns.
• Advising clients on income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax matters.
• Providing support on tax planning projects and advisory work.
• Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team and offering technical guidance where required.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring queries are handled efficiently and professionally.
• Liaising with partners and directors on complex tax matters.
• Ensuring compliance deadlines are met throughout the assignment.

What you'll need to succeed

• CTA and/or ATT qualified, with relevant private client tax experience.
• Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and advisory matters.
• Experience managing a varied portfolio of private clients.
• Comfortable working independently and quickly building client relationships.
• Available to start at short notice or immediately preferred.
