Role-Personal injury Executive
Salary-£30,000-£35,000
Flexibility-Hybrid

An established law firm with a growing presence across the North West is looking to add a Personal Injury Executive to its Liverpool team.
With expertise spanning Personal Injury, Complex Injury, Clinical Negligence, Professional Negligence, Housing Disrepair and Group Actions, the firm offers a broad range of specialist legal services and a strong focus on achieving positive outcomes for its clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Personal Injury professional with litigation experience who is ready to take ownership of their own caseload, build on their existing skills and progress their career within a supportive and ambitious legal environment.

The Opportunity

You will join an established Personal Injury team, managing a caseload of litigated claims, predominantly involving Fast Track matters. Importantly, the role does not involve Credit Hire work.
With responsibility for your own files, you will play an active role in progressing claims through the litigation process, negotiating settlements and preparing cases for trial where required. This is a position where you can continue to develop your technical expertise while taking real ownership of your work.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own caseload of litigated Personal Injury claims from the issue of proceedings through to conclusion
  • Handling predominantly Fast Track litigation matters
  • Driving cases forward proactively and ensuring procedural deadlines are met
  • Advising and supporting clients, keeping them informed throughout the life cycle of their claims
  • Drafting pleadings, reviewing evidence and preparing relevant legal documentation
  • Liaising with insurers, opposing solicitors, counsel, experts and other parties
  • Negotiating settlements and working towards favourable outcomes
  • Preparing cases for trial where settlement is not possible
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date files in line with relevant regulatory and procedural requirements
  • Delivering a high standard of client care while managing a busy caseload effectively
About You

This opportunity would suit a Personal Injury Executive or Solicitor with approximately 1-2 years of experience in litigated PI, looking to take the next step within a specialist team.
You will ideally bring:

  • Experience handling your own litigated Personal Injury caseload
  • Exposure to Fast Track claims and the associated litigation process
  • A sound understanding of civil procedure and the requirements of litigated claims
  • The ability to manage competing priorities while keeping cases on track
  • Strong drafting, communication and negotiation skills
  • A proactive approach to case management and problem-solving
  • The confidence to work independently and make sound decisions on your files
  • A commitment to delivering a positive client experience
  • The ambition to continue developing your technical ability and progress within Personal Injury
Why Join?

If you are looking for a role that allows you to build on your existing experience while taking greater responsibility for your own work, this could be a strong next move.
You will be joining an established legal team within a firm that values collaboration, professional development and high-quality client service. With ongoing training and opportunities to progress, the role provides a platform to strengthen your litigation expertise and build your longer-term career.
